Is Dual RS485 really necessary for level measurement systems? Our customer would like a level sensor with Dual RS485 communication, but in real industrial applications, do you use one port for PLC and the other for SCADA? Or one for local monitoring and one for remote data logging? In your projects, how do you actually use Dual RS485?
