Ground check wiring with Zener diodes

Me and my colleagues are working on motor installation that uses two power cables each of them with GC conductor. The setup is using Zener 5.6v diodes connected to ground with motor junction box. I was wondering is it necessary to install a separate Zener diode for each GC conductor or i can connect the GC wires to one Zener diode at the motor end?

It's usually better to install a separate Zener diode for each GC conductor to make sure each one is properly protected. Using just 1 diode for all the wires might not work as well and could cause issues. I could be wrong though, but thats what i know

Yeah I agreee with @dreyfuss16 ,sharing one diode can cause uneven voltage clamping and might not protect each conductor properly and installing individual diodes ensures each grounding conductor is safely managed without interference from the others.
